Its very big challenge to extract traffic toward your blog especially using social media where millions of links are entered in the form of news feed. Compel people to click on your links can works only if you have a very attractive headlines. But even then, there is no guarantee, and you might be disappointed when you see the actual numbers of people who clicked.
What you need are some tools that apply a little more creativity toward gaining readers. Some of them use a symbiotic system in order for your content to reach a wider audience.
#1. Viral Content Buzz
This site was co-created by Ann Smarty who also started the popular My Blog Guest. The latter site uses a sharing process where you offer your posts in order to gain exposure for your blog. Smarty’s sharing idea was taken to Viral Content Buzz, which she started with Gerald Weber.
On Buzz, you’re able to have your blog posted on well-known social media accounts that you ordinarily wouldn’t have access to. This site uses a similar concept as Virtual Content Buzz. At Just Retweet, you start out promoting other people’s content and collecting points. Once you have enough points, other members will take your content and start promoting it for you on their social media accounts. It’s another brilliant idea which shows how using a sharing system creates a win-win promotional process for everyone.
#3. Biz Sugar
Sharing also plays a part at Biz Sugar, only this time it goes through an educative process. Employing a voting system, the content that gets the most votes for being useful ends up rising to the top and featured on the site’s front page. Keep in mind this is designed specifically for business blogs, which includes videos.

SlideShare says they have 60 million monthly visitors and 130 million page views. That’s quite impressive and the reason why you should consider SlideShare in helping drive traffic to your blog. The more social sharing tools and platforms you use – the more traffic you will bring to your blog. But remember, in the end it’s not about how much traffic you get, it’s about what kind of traffic you get. Getting to 100K Alexa is easy, but getting engaged and loyal returing visitors is not.
